Oath of Enlistment - 1986

I, Kevin Dunlap, do solemnly swear,
that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic;
that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same, and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States
and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.

Notice that the Oath of Enlistment does not say until I am discharged or anything like it. That to me means it is an oath for life. What do you think?

When did you take yours? Mine was July 13th 1986 at the MEPS in Linthicum Maryland.
