We've got family somewhere in Queensland, but it might as well be on the other side of the world. . . oh, wait, it is. We live in Maryland, U.S.A., just outside of Washington, D.C.

With your interest in the mystical and philosofical, perhaps you should look at the Mas. Ed. Group Here. We could use any input you're willing to share.

Thanks for the welcome Bro Ralph. I am secretary of the WHJ Mayers LoR in Cairns Far North Queensland and like you am into all the mystical and philosofical aspects of Masonry. If I can send you any of my stuff let me know on harbar33@dodo.com.au

Hi Tom. Good to hear from you. I also have just finished two years as Lodge Master. It would be nice if we had some candidates. Millaa is a small village of some 4 to 5 hundred. We did do a second degree on friday the first candidate we have had in years. I am trying to get more. How did you get 18?

it's a pleasure to have you here worshipful bro. And I hope I will be meeting you in person this year... am also the sitting master of my BL, having been elected twice 2007 and 2008. I was installed the 2nd time around last february 9. I am also thinking of implementing an intensive masonic education to the petitioners. We have 18 petties at present...

I don't have any tats both my son who is a wishful biker, but can't afford it and one of my daughters both have tats. Last night we had a second degree at Mill lodge. Millaa Millaa is a small pop with surrounding farms about 500, it went well. I am IPM and also secretary as no one else wanted the job. I am also secretary of the WHJ Mayers Lodge of research and am in the process of introducing Masonic Education into our district with a new Mentoring scheme.

Oh yes, I went over the handlebars of my Dad's Honda when I was about 14 years old. I did not ride a motorcycle again for 25 years. I guess I didn't forget too much. I hopped on and once I figured out the tolerances of the clutch, I just took off riding and haven't stopped too much.

The video on my page is of the road I took last summer which goes east from Tennessee to North Carolina. 11 miles, 318 curves, a very wicked road to ride in the rain.

Brother Harvey, you are absolutely correct as to the special lingo and dialect of the biker world. I joke with my wife that she will be the Tattooed Lady for Ringling Brothers Circus as she has 25 different tattoos.

I like to get on my bike and go and get lost. It drives the wife crazy when I do that but I enjoy it. Seems like there ought to be a masonic lesson in that whole experience somewhere. Perhaps it is just a quest to find myself lost in my mind as I cruise along without any of the worries of the world on my mind as I concentrate on the ride itself.

Pleased to meet you. I am currently the Senior Deacon and Chairman of the Education Committee, and have been the webmaster for Lafayette Lodge #123 since 2003.

Keep traveling towards the East!!!
