Brethren All,
Each year, Masons from all over the U.S., Canada, and other countries around the world come to the Washington, D.C. area to visit Masonic Orders some of which many Masons have never heard, and to visit local Lodges in the D.C. area. Here are a few photos, taken with my phone's camera, of this year's Masonic Week gathering, which was held in Alexandria, VA. Distance shots are, of course, not very well defined, but the few such shots that were taken still give some sense of presence, so please bear with them; the photos aren't all like that. Egregiously low resolutions were not included.
Placing faces with names is often a good thing. I hope you enjoy these, and find them interesting. If you have never been to Masonic Week, these photos may play a small part in helping you to decide to come visit. The album you're looking for is called, naturally,
Masonic Week 2008. Clicking on each thumbnail will let you see the captions with the photos. The T-Mobile site is going to ask you for an access code. The access code is "masonic" (without the quotation marks, of course). The album is relatively small, and is at:

Also, on my other photo website at
www.flickr.com/photos/magus_of_luxor you can find a somewhat larger album called
Memoirs of a Traveler, if you haven't already seen it, in which are some photos of Masonic meet-n-greets that I've co-hosted in the NYC area, and past Masonic Week gatherings in D.C., when we were still at the historic Hotel Washington (her name be praised in reverent, hushed tones, augmented by much genuflection and followed by a moment of solemn silence...)
As you look at the pics, if you choose the slideshow option then you will note that when you pass your mouse over the photo an encircled "i" pops up, indicating that there is captioned information about the photo ; click that to see the caption about the photo you're looking at. If you find that you cannot get to the album and need access assistance, ping me back-channel and I'll square it away.
Bro. Steve, although we had the
great pleasure of meeting at last at Benjamin B. French #15 to hear the talk by Bro. Seale, I realized tonight that I have not one photo of you for my album. My apologies, Brother!
Your Brother,
.·. Rashied ~
